Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Apple Valley, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lake Lure, North Carolina.
The course was designed by Dan Maples.
Well positioned bunkers and undulating terrain present a variety of tough shots to golfers of all abilities.
The Course Rating is 73.2 and the Slope Rating is 140 from the Champions tee which play to 6,756 yards.
The other three tee boxes play to 6,297, 5,484, and 4,617 yards.

I did not like this course as well as Bald Mountain. Some of the holes were set up a little off the wall in my opinion.

Sister course to Bald Mountain. A tougher course with narrower fairways. Take some balls with you! Afternoon cut rates that are very good.

Great layout and excellent condition. Greens were fast with significant undulation. Great mountain views. Worth the trip to play. Reasonable lodging available for stay.
